About Us

We are anglers all, fly and spin, ladies & gentlemen, gathering each fall to experience the beauty of New Smyrna Beach, and Florida's Mosquito Lagoon, to feel the quickening pulse of the hunt, the thrill of running line, and enjoy the outstanding fellowship.  Most importantly though, we gather to raise money in support of the Alzheimer's Association, which leads the way in compassion and research, regarding this devastating disease.

Our first 'hunt' in 2002 had eight of us inaugurate the event and begin the tradition. Last year's Hunt totaled 52 participants, hailing from parts all over the South East, North East & Canada. This year marks our eighth Hunt, and we look forward to reuniting with old friends and welcoming new ones.  Why not join us?  It's a good time, for a great cause, and you're invited.

Your participation fee, or any donation, goes directly to the Alzheimer's Association and makes a real difference in people's lives.
